In commemoration of Fair Housing Month in April, the County of Hawaiʻi, in partnership with the Hawaiʻi Civil Rights Commission, HUD, and Legal Aid Society of Hawaiʻi will be hosting FREE Fair Housing Seminars in Kona on April 24, 2020, and in Hilo on April 30, 2020.

Filing a Complaint

If you believe your rights may have been violated, here is how you can file a complaint:

Because there are time limits on when a complaint can be filed after an alleged violation, please submit your complaint as soon as possible and provide as much information including:

  • Names of parties involved
  • Address or other identification of the housing or program involved
  • Date(s) of the alleged violation
  • Description of the event(s) that cause you to believe your rights were violated
